These front swaybar disconnects for JK Wrangler are for hardcore offroading. A disconnected swaybar is for slow-going offroad use and can help achieve increased suspension travel (wheel movement) when used in conjunction with other suspension mods. These ones have been designed especially for ease of use and quietness of function. When disconnected, the top mount hooks onto a new chassis mount bracket (supplied), so there is no fiddling around with straps or cable ties in order to keep the link out of harms way. The upper tie-rod ends are ball-joint style for better durability. The link rods are threaded for fine tuning of the length, and so they suit all JK Wrangler models with 2.5"- 4" of suspension lift.
(above) Here is the chassis mount bracket installed which keeps the link rod out of the way when disconnected.
