(above) Here is the Ironman 4x4 suspension kit in base format. In this case they are 35-40mm lift coils in a comfort/medium load rate, plus 40mm bore foam-cell struts and shocks. While the foam-cell units are generally considered heavy-duty, they do not spoil the ride. Even in a light-load application, ride comfort remains excellent. In addition to the base kit, we've also installed Ironman's rear swaybar relocation brackets and headlight sensor extension bracket, plus Airbag Man Coil-Rite airbags with Kevlar mesh high-pressure sleeves.
(above) Here is Sam assembling the foam-cell struts to the new Ironman coils. This vehicle is new, so it is fine to construct these with the existing vehicle strut top mounts. 4WD struts should be assembled by a pro with a dedicated wall or floor mounted strut compressor machine (not with coil spring clamps). At 4WD1.com we can provide coil/strut combinations pre-assembled with new OE-style strut top mounts to make fitting easy, and/or in the case of an older vehicle, ensure that the struts are located by new hardware and bushings.

(above) After disconnecting the swaybar and tie rod, Sam mounts the assembly. The top is secured first, before lining up the bottom mount. On an NP300 there is enough movement in the top arm as to not require the disconnection or loosening of any other parts for installation.
(above) In addition to the new suspension, this Navara is getting fitted with Airbag Man airbags with high-pressure sleeves. Why? This vehicle is pretty stock in setup but reasonably regularly tows heavy machinery trailers. No matter how you think about it, and despite advances in spring design, comfort-ride suspension can't carry heavy loads and heavy-duty springs ride rough and sit too high when the vehicle is light-loaded. Airbags allow you to tune your suspension under all loads and conditions. Just add or remove air.
If this vehicle was more of a constant load "tradie ute", Ironman also have rear coils that will hold approx 40mm of lift with a whopping 600kg in the tub!
(above) These Airbag Man airbags are fitted with the optional mesh high pressure sleeves. With the extra sleeves fitted, you can literally double the pressure in the bag (usually 60psi instead of 30psi). This means for up to double the load carrying ability and/or reduced stress on the bag.
(above) These Ironman rear swaybar relocation brackets maintain the optimum swaybar position and prevent inversion when extra long-travel shocks are fitted.
(above) This extension bracket goes to a linkage that controls a headlight sensor, so now, even with the lift, the sensor works as original.
(above) Side on and with the new suspension fitted, the NP300 has a great stance and plenty of under-guard clearance.
