This package is ideal for raised D22's.
In standard height the side rods are more level than on a lifted vehicle so the upward force created to the centre rod is lower. Once the vehicle is lifted the side rod angle increases resulting in greater torsional load being applied to the centre rod. To combat this increase in torsional load this rod has been designed with two fixed 'T'studs (rotating only, no articulation) and supplied with spacer shims to allow for the positioning of the centre rod and the lack of tolerance that this dual stud application creates.
As an added bonus, a idler reinforcing bracket has also been included in the kit. Installed between the chassis and the idler, the bracket provides support to the bottom of the pivot pin to aid in stopping the side loading from wearing the idler bushing out too quickly.
