For a number of years now we've offered the Xtreme Outback heavy-duty clutch kit for VDJ70 Landcruiser (76/78/79-series). It's an awesome clutch that It provides a 25% increase in clamp load which makes it to 1050kg. The rating of this one for torque (nm/ftlbs) is 590/440. So, good for vehicles with an exhaust and intake upgrade when towing or getting bogged. (The original engine torque for 1VDFTV FROM VDJ IS 430Nm) This clutch drives like OE kit. No NVH increase. The kit includes pressure plate, friction plate, bearing, spigot bush and clutch alignment tool. Check it out here

Recently Xtreme Outback have released an EXTRA HEAVY-DUTY VERSION. It provides a whopping 58% increase in clamp load making it to 1300kg. The rating of this one for torque (nm/ftlbs) is 750/550.

This kit is for vehicles with an exhaust, intake and an aggressive tune that gets driven hard or is used regularly at the limit of its load and towing capacity .

The kit will have a small increase in pedal effort and small increase in transmission/engine harmonics from high torque friction disc - But it is very respectable.
